After long years spent in the bosom of Group Montedison, CARLO ERBA Reagents is again an independent group.
Dr Carlo Erba was born exactly in 1853 when the enterprising Milanese pharmacist who gave his name to the company decides to add a production laboratory. The company grew rapidly and by the death of its founder, in 1888, is already one of the jewels of the industry.

Production Plants

Val de Reuil plant

Val de Reuil plant is at 100 km west of Paris. It distributes CARLO ERBA Reagents products on French territory, the Benelux countries and the Maghreb. It deals the production of solvents and customized products.
The site is classified Seveso low level, and is certified ISO:9001 since 1994 and ISO:14001 since 1998.

The site is located between Aix en Provence and Marseille. It is certified ISO:9002 since 1992 and ISO:14001 since 2002.
